Hawaii Retreat - 5th night

We have an incredible chocolateer with us who brought several of her bars and truffles made from African, Madagascar and Dominican Republic chocolate. So, we had a chocolate tasting session before class today! How heavenly! I never knew how different each country's chocolate can be! Some fruity, some with a punch. Wow! I loved the Dominican one with nuts and cranberries. It's redder than other chocolate and has a fruity, astringent quality. I think I may have to become a chocolaholic after all!

We'll use movement, dynamic interaction, and play to explore integrity, responsibility, healthy communication and appreciation. SELF ESTEEM GROUP FOR WOMEN

June 10 - 24: Tuesday evenings, 7:15 - 8:45 p.m.

Low self esteem is of epidemic proportions in our culture, and especially for women. We feel "not enough" and so we pressure ourselves to achieve and perform, compare ourselves to others, seek outside recognition and praise, and wind up creating more suffering, anxiety and stress. Come learn new ways to "be with" yourself, bolster your self esteem, and ultimately embrace who you truly are.
This group will support women of all ages who struggle with self esteem. We'll use techniques, practices and teachings from both the yoga tradition and Robyn's Hendricks trainings.

Location and Parking:
Arcata is located in Humboldt County, on the Redwood Coast of Northern California.
All classes, unless noted above, meet at The Community Yoga Center, 890 G St., Arcata. We have a beautiful spacious room above the Outdoor Store on the Plaza, in downtown Arcata, just south of 9th St.

2-hour parking is available all around the plaza. 4-hour parking is available in a lot behind the Yoga center, corner of 8th and F St. Unlimited parking is on F St, east of 9th.
